Wow it's depressing how critical people are -.- Don't listen to them, the redo of that tattoo is an amazing improvement! I'd be thrilled to have my own tattoo redone so well. Good job!

Hey, criticism is incredibly important to an artist's improvement.

The lack of ears, nose shape and shading on the bridge of the nose on the sheep (in the second image) makes it look like a poodle. This is a sheep nose- [link]
Also, what is up with the random little, I dunno, 'shake lines' around the thorns? They just look so off and it would look just fine without them.

I'm pretty sure this is the image we used [link] (although, I can't be sure being that this was done years ago). Also, directly after giving a tattoo with grey wash, it tends to look darker for a couple weeks until it's healed completely. There was more added to this piece that incorporated the "shakey lines", but I never got a picture of it. *shrugs*

I certainly agree, it looks like a poodle ):

Agreed. And those shake lines are a bit obvious, although the persons skin may be very rough. But the keeyy....oh god, why turn the lovely chain into rough line? It just looks a bit unprofessional.

wow! nice! the thing that bothers me though is that the sheep looks more like a poodle. It looked more like a sheep in the older design

I'll be honest that I like the first one better.
Not saying that the re-work isnt good. they are both equal in skill
but I like the style of the first one more
