So, I've been doing alot of art lately, but none of it potential to submit to DA on accounts of NDA's n stuff.  I think this week, my friend and I will be launching our iPhone game, (possibly next), tattooing has been very busy as of late, have a meeting this weekend with some other game makers to talk about expanding and have begun casting the pilot I wrote.  Oh, and I have to do a webpage.  This is one of those times where I really wish I had a clone I could trust because fuck some work like whoa.  I just wanna nap with a bunch of love kittens and a night fury dragon.  Peace.

I understand, being a tattoo artist myself, that we have a profession that is built over a foundation of copying the work of other artists.  If a client comes in and wants anything OTHER than a piece the tattoo artist will be drawing up personally, then there's a 98% chance that it's the work of another artist.  I get that.  Hell, at least 50% of the tattoos I do are based on the work of other artists.  That being said though, if I were to post something I did online, (you can check my portfolio for instance), I give credit to the original artist.  It's the fair thing to do.

I also understand that many tattooists aren't actually artists... They may be able to apply a clean, solid tattoo, but if they were asked to actually produce anything on their own, they'd be at a severe loss.  This is where I think I make an exception.  I love to draw and, (again, use my gallery to make your own conclusion of this), might actually be pretty good at it.

On top of this, if you were to google search "zombie girl", chances are that the image I drew up and have posted in my DA as such will pop up on the first page.  I've seen it stolen a number of times already and put on skateboards or just in people's portfolios as their own custom works.  As one might imagine, this pisses me off to no end.  

Now, to the guts of this post.  I drew this piece for a client so they could have an original John Devilman piece.  I didn't put it on a sheet of flash or sell it in a book because it was for that one client and my own personal use.  When another tattoo artist takes that design and uses it on one of their clients, it takes away from the person I drew it for by making his tattoo less unique.  I know I can't help it, but it pisses me off.... but what makes me even more upset, is when cock-breathed brick eaters post it as their own, as if they took the time to do more than just trace my drawing and tweek a thing or two here and there.  Assfaces like this:

Just got back from my first meetup.  It was like going to a party where you don't know anybody... (since that's exactly what it was), until Battledress found me and showed me around, (thanks!)  Everyone was very nice and there was alot of good stuff to look at.

Then... on the way back,  I got a flat tire in Compton.  My spare?  Oh yeah, it didn't have any air in it.  So, I had to drive over a mile on the original flat so the spare wouldn't get shredded so that i could put air in it and change tires for the 3rd time.

*sigh*

I'm so upset, I've got all this stress in my jaw.  I hates it.

OK, so some stuff went down with my DeviantArt with my site getting hacked and all of my stuff deleted so I uploaded as much as I could stomach for today back onto the site.  For those who have been watching me, I'm sorry to congest your DA's with my junk for a second time.  For those who just recently added me... "thanks".

I saw that someone requested a print of one of my tattoos.  Well, I've never messed with that part of DA, but since you requested it, I'm going to see what I can do for you.  Anyone else want a print, I'll do whatever I can to oblige your request as well.

Anyway, sorry for the mega upload.

My old account got hacked and all my deviations were deleted but I've since reacquired my account and am back to posting deviations.  I think those of you who had me on your watch list will still get updates though, so there's that bit of good news too.

I'll get around to posting pieces that I'd had up before the incident and all that soon enough.  Until then, I'm just glad to be back.
